“For several years now, I have enjoyed volunteering for the US Venture Open, for many reasons. The impact of this event is far reaching and immeasurable. The Schmidt Family Foundation has lived out multiple generations of philanthropy, which moves the needle on ending homelessness in our area. A minimal contribution of my time seems like a drop in the bucket, yet each of us has an opportunity to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
